Asian Lettuce Wraps
2 large Chicken breasts
1 can Water chesnuts
1 can Bamboo Shoots
8 Mushrooms
3 cloves of Garlic
1 Tablespoon Gluten Free Soy Sauce
2 Tablespoons Hoisin Sauce (or 1 tablespoon of Honey)
1 Tablespoon Rice Vinegar
2 Teaspoons Asian Chili Pepper Sauce
1 Teaspoon Sesame Seed Oil
1 bunch Green Onions
1 Head Iceberg Lettuce
Directions: Boil Chicken for 20 minutes. Cut it in small cubes. Sauté minced garlic in sesame seed oil. Chop up water chestnuts and bamboo shoots. Sauté and add the rest of the ingredients except for green onions (and lettuce) Serve in lettuce cups and garnish with green onions. Severe with extra chili sauce or hoisin.
Love this recipe. Hoisin sauce which is high in sugar. But all in all, this recipe is pretty paleo, and the flavor is worth it! If you are hard-core then you can leave it out and sweeten it with a Tablespoon of Honey! Enjoy!
